MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: SEXPO, the world’s largest Health, Sexuality and Lifestyle exhibition is set to travel to the USA. The four-day world-class event has toured Australian cities for the last 12 years. A hugely successful mix of entertainment and exhibitors, SEXPO has attracted more than 2 million people over that time and has become the most popular exhibition of its kind.
The event was recently successfully exported to Sth. Africa where it attracted 32,000 visitors to the Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg in October 2007.
With no previous exhibition experience, Silas Howarth (SEXPO Sth. Africa) decided that there was no sense in ‘reinventing the wheel’ and approached SEXPO Australia’s David Ross for information about holding the event into Sth. Africa. Several months later, a license agreement was signed and the Sth. African event staged within the year.
Howarth says, “We are extremely pleased at how well our first South African event turned out, and attribute the phenomenal success to our partnership with SEXPO AUSTRALIA. We have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with David Ross and his team and have benefited considerably from their unrelenting support. SEXPO began in Melbourne, Australia in 1996 as a forum for women to feel comfortable about buying adult products. The event has expanded into a broad ‘adult lifestyle’ exhibition and maintains strong female patronage (44%+) and now visits five major Australian, and three Sth. African cities each year.

Apart from the exhibitor stands at SEXPO, the stage with rock concert lighting and audio, will host a variety of entertaining performances. Popular international celebrities and stage acts from SEXPO Australia will be traveling to the USA, including the world famous penile artist, PRICASSO, who uses his penis as a brush to paint surprisingly good portraits, and the beautiful, sexy Miss Nude Australia, ARIANNA STARR. In addition, hilarious crowd participation shows, comedians, fashion parades and giveaways will leave AMERICAN adults gasping for more!
Information will also be given a high priority at SEXPO. A Sexual Health Education (S.H.E) section will feature a wide range of sexual health awareness groups, with free space available for non-profit health organisations, with the aim to provide the consumer with valuable knowledge regarding health and sexuality.
